With the release date of Diablo 3 coming up, most of us D2 fans are packed with excitement and enthusiasm. Will it be able to follow in D2's legacy? I am not sure yet, but it is getting its good and bad from me and others.
One of the big talks is the color scheme. It seems to me that blizzard modeled the color template after World Of Warcraft. The mixture of heavy greens and blue just make it cartoonish. I mean they should keep Diablo its own and WOW its own. I really hope they are not changing it up, like to to try and grab every last warcraft player and convert them to buy D3 also. Some like it some don't. But I don't think they should move in that direction. This will most definitely lead to loss of buys.
Diablo 3 has its good points. For one, the graphics are much better (other than some colors). The game play looks smooth and rich with content from what I have seen. Above else Diablo fans are starving for new content! Maybe that's why people like me and others write these articles. We need more content to view. Maybe the critics are just shouting because they haven't seen enough and we have nothing else to talk about as far the game goes?
Well having said that you make the choice. I am buying for sure. I couldn't just sit here without trying it. I will say that if is not up to par i will be a sad sad man.
